i wanted to know that is ps2 really phased out
most of the new games are not made for ps2 i am looking to buy a gaming console so kindly help me |

Yeah pretty much. I mean just because they don't make new games for it doesn't mean that it's not a good console - some of the games on the PS2 are pretty awesome.
But if you've got cash to spend, I think it's the 20GB and 60GB that have backwards compatibility. Which means, you can play both PS2 and PS3 games on it. Unfortunately the 60GB has been discontinued, but you could probably have a look on eBay for it. |

I hate it how it seems like there's a new freaking console every year. I'm afraid that if I actually buy something it'll discontinue and I'll have to pack it up and send it to the abyss of the garage!
